Axon Moore are partnering with a well-established and growing business based near Bolton to recruit an ambitious Financial Accountant.
This is an exciting role which will involve assisting with upcoming projects including the review and
implementation of financial reporting systems, the management and production of management accounts, rolling cash flow, financial budgets and more.
You will be involved in overseeing improvement to procedures and controls, financial planning and analysis and ad-hoc project work. There are ample opportunities to add value to the wider business.
Other duties include:

- Assist the Finance Director with the setup of new accounting systems and provide support on systems development both at transactional and management level reporting.
- Leading the finance function to implement new systems and procedures including areas such as budgets, cash reporting, and real time financial information.
- Continually identifying risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout the process.
- Assistance with the management of all aspects of insurance including policy management, renewal and incident reporting both internally and with relevant external stakeholders and KPIs.
- Assistance with strategic level risk reporting both with clients and working capital management.
- Assistance with the preparation of monthly financial statements to include P&L, balance sheet, intercompany schedule and key control accounts
- Assistance with the production of monthly cost reports, exception reports and management reports to the Board and senior management.
