If so, they are now looking for aTest Engineer to join us at our head office just off the A38 near Newton Abbot, easily accessible from Exeter, Plymouth, and Torbay. Working with many of the biggest names in the IT industry the company is a proven innovator in the design, manufacture, andsystem integration of high-end IT hardware solutions.

**Test Engineer responsibilities include: -**
- Responsible for full testing lifecycle covering activities from Impact assessment, analysis of requirements, preparation of test scripts, test execution, defect management and delivery of testing reports.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders and business users to provide the key considerations for testing, advise on testable requirements and coaching of testing processes.
- Defining automated acceptance tests that prove that the functionality required
- Liaising with programme team to write test cases, discuss defects and run defect triage meetings.

**Test Engineer requirements include: -**
- Knowledge of VDI solutions including Vmware desirable
- CCNA, Active Directory, Citrix, VMware (VCA/VCP) desirable
- MacOS and Apple hardware experience desirable
- Understanding of Hardware and Software integration with a good product development background.
- Broad range of experience in creating automated tests in Python or similar
- Experience of non-functional testing e.g. performance, security and accessibility testing.
- Experience of the following tools: Jenkins, GITHUB/GITLAB, Jira, Confluence
- A good balance between technology and communication skills
