**Job Title: SEN Primary Tutor**
**Location: 3 Dimensions School, Somerset, TA20 3AJ**
**Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum dependant on experience**_ (not pro rata)_**
**Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 4.30pm**
**Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only**
**Start date: November 2025**

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Primary Tutor to join the team at 3 Dimensions School, part of Options Autism — a division of Outcomes First Group.

**About the Role**
As an SEN Primary Tutor, you will deliver personalised teaching and learning to individual pupils or small groups, ensuring progress across core curriculum areas and life skills. You'll work closely with teaching staff, learning support assistants, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure each child receives the support and challenge they need to thrive.
You will also take responsibility for a specific area of work-related learning, contributing to curriculum development and helping to embed practical, functional education that prepares our pupils for their next steps.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and adapt sessions based on pupils’ individual learning plans and EHCPs
- Contribute to vocational/work-based curriculum where appropriate
- Support pupils in developing functional and life skills
- Monitor and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to colleagues
- Help manage the classroom environment to meet the sensory and emotional needs of pupils
- Collaborate with Learning Support Assistants and contribute to a consistent, team-based approach
**Who we are looking for**:
We’re looking for an individual with a creative, flexible and learner-centred approach, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
**Essential**:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly autism
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning profiles
- Confident in managing and supporting challenging behaviour positively and calmly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive and resilient, with strong organisational abilities
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
