About the role
Join our Insight team In this role you will deliver clear insight to underpin our Seasonal Propositions across Food to ensure we “show-up” for customers and deliver to their expectations.
You will manage both research and analytics requests, providing clear and focused briefs. Knowing how to summarise and visualise data simply, focusing on what will make the biggest impact
You will be responsible for
- Connect multiple data sets of varying types (research, behavioural, panel, economic, market context) to support the creation of insight about our customers, competitors & markets that we can act on
- Use data & insight to tell compelling stories, sharing this across the business to deliver practical recommendations
- Ensure projects deliver against requirements, on time and on budget, and are presented in a simple way, to land the key messages with impact
- Ensure insight produced is accurate to support our strategic drivers
- Support the proposition team with insight to feed strategic priorities across Tesco’s strategic drivers
- Support senior colleagues to make insight led proposition decisions, from proposition development through to evaluation
- Work with agency partners to deliver compelling foresight to support the business in prioritising long-term strategies
- Support foresight projects with behavioural and survey data to bring the trends to life, with a specific Tesco focus
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a well-rounded, insight led story
You will need
- Number of years experience in an insight function or as a recipient of Insight content e.g.: Planner, Strategist, Brand Manager
- Agency or client-side experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once across multiple agencies and stages
- Good understanding of different insight approaches and tools
- Demonstrable analytical & data interpretation skills as well as data visualisation and storytelling
