**Position: Warehouse Supervisor**

**Hours**:45 hours per week (exc breaks), will need to be flexible for the needs of the business

**Shift Pattern**:Monday - Friday some weekend work may be required at peak times.

**Salary: Depending on skills and experience**

**The Opportunity**:
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a warehouse supervisor to join our warehouse team at JK Foods Nottingham.

**The Role**:
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will report into the Assistant Manager and you will have responsibility for circa 9 warehouse operative direct report.

This is a varied, challenging role and every day is different

**Key Result Areas, Tasks and Main Duties**:

- The receiving, storage and distribution for all JK products
- Delivering excellence in terms of pick, palletise and ship performance
- Supporting the continuing development of the new orderwise WMS system
- Ensuring a safe working environment
- Further, you will be expected to train and develop your team and their capabilities to support you in meeting key performance objectives.
- Ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on-time and in full
- Adhere to company policies and processes
- Previous Supervisor experience in a warehouse distribution role
- FLT Reach licence desirable
- Hands-on with a common-sense approach. Not afraid of pitching in to get results.
- Strong communication skills
- Be a good team player.
- Able to influence others
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with a real ‘can-do’ attitude.
