**About the Role**
**Base Location**: Flexible UK & Ireland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK and Ireland.

**The Role**:
To assist engineers and managers within the Enterprise business with reviewing how we operate and maintain our assets including the required processes, procedures, training, competency, and authorisation of the people that work with them. Working with business sector stakeholders and contractors to help evaluate and create processes and procedures whilst identifying potential improvements and creating solutions through engaging with training providers and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to clarify technical matters.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure Operational Safety documentation is managed in accordance with quality assurance procedures
- Creating, reviewing and amending Operational Safety documentation whilst seeking guidance and approval from Operational Managers and SME’s
- Creating training material and rolling this out to Stakeholders and confirming compliance and understanding of attendees
- Researching, gathering and organising information in accordance with document control procedures, including management of the document library and other technical libraries
- Management of the HV&LV Equipment Defects database across Enterprise and Third Party Service Provider (TPSP’s)
- Administer the Operational Review Board, collate and send information to Enterprise businesses and external TPSP’s
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Recognise opportunities for business change and communicate them persuasively through good leadership qualities.
- Experience in the development of new processes and procedures in accordance with UK standards and legislation
- Broad understanding of all areas of the UK energy industry and energy markets
- Excellent Office 365 skills
- Document management, control and workflow process skills
