**Commodities Business Analyst - £700 - £800 Per Day - Fully Remote - FTSE100 Commodities Organisation**
**Overview**:
A leading FTSE100 organisation operating in the commodities sector are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with previous experience working within commodities to join one of their growing teams in London on a fully remote basis.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Understand the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions.
- Work closely with process owners and key end-users to capture detailed, unambiguous business requirements.
- Work with the other business analysts and development teams to capture system requirements and drive the design of quality technical solutions.
- System configuration, security/authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and data reconciliation.
- Assist in optimising business performance by continually looking to improve the alignment between business processes and the CTRM in conjunction with business process owners.
- Gain consensus on new process concepts to move process improvement forward.
- Develop and agree test scripts (steps and expected positive and negative results) with the business SME and teams.
- Run unit and system integration tests.
- Ongoing engagement with the automated testing team to provide requirements for the automation of regression testing.
- Plan and run user acceptance tests.
- Act as the key specialist point of contact for service providers in problem solving and investigations related to incidents in the Marketing area where they relate to systems.
- Provide 3rd line support including problem root cause analysis and resolution.
**Role Requirements**:
- Physical commodity trading domain knowledge.
- Understanding of the trade life cycle (physical and financial).
- Basic understanding of regulatory reporting (for example EMIR)
- Functional knowledge of CTRM solutions (specific Aspect and Veson systems knowledge would be advantageous).
- Engage effectively with key stakeholders to understand business requirements / challenges.
- Translate business requirements into functional design & requirements for build by technical team.
- Configure, test & implement CTRM/ERP solutions.
- Analyse issues, identify root cause(s), quantify business impacts, and implement effectual resolutions.
- Recommend and implement solutions in aid of business process enhancements, usability and operational effectiveness.

- £700 - £800 per day
