**Insurance Surveyor**
- Use of Xero on a daily basis to monitor cashflow, sales and cost ledgers
- Manage sales ledger, invoices, credits and allocation of cash
- Produce reports to facilitate and manage debt chasing where required
- Carry out sales analysis to assist with business decision making
- Review and approval of weekly payroll and pay runs
- Review and monitor overheads
- Ensure profitability across the portfolio of work
- Provide help and support to the surveying team
- Review of balance sheet and P & L account
- Assist with the implementation of business systems and processes
- Negotiate supplier terms
- Obtain and monitor on-hire reports

**Insurance Surveyor**

Contract Manager & QS
- Agree and draw up schedules of repairs using various client web-based scheduling systems
- Draw up internal documents clearly detailing scope of works for operatives
- Draw up programmes of works to accurately forecast durations and profit margins
- Obtain necessary subcontract and materials quotations
- Agree subcontract prices, terms and conditions
- Measure for, order and reconcile materials required
- Agree appropriate valuation dates and sums with clients
- Approve subcontract and materials invoices for payment
- Work with the operation teams to ensure quality and programme
- Complete H & S documentation
- Provide any necessary H & S / O & M file information
- Ensure variations are recorded and submitted to the client on a timely basis

**Insurance Surveyor**
- They will be good at working under pressure and dealing with a large number of projects at one time. They will have experience of working in the construction/ insurance repairs market and will have excellent communication skills with homeowners, clients,subcontractors and employees alike..
