An International FinTech start-up are hiring a senior-level Python Developer to join their expanding London-based team. This company is working at the cutting-edge of the industry, using technology to revolutionise investments to empower customers and improvecustomer retention within financial institutions. They are seeking a motivated and commercially experienced Python Software Engineer who is looking for fast progression in a dynamic and supportive team atmosphere.

**THE COMPANY**:
The company is a growing start-up redefining how customers with interact with their high-value investment portfolios, empowering them to make decisions that are truly in their best interest. They provide an advisory subscription service to ensure recommendationsare entirely independent, rather than having a vested interest in the profits. The FinTech company already has a solid customer base and a strong turnover as a result.

**THE ROLE**:
As a Python Developer, you will have an expansive range of responsibilities, including:

- Design, development and upkeep of required software using Python & Django
- Design, development and upkeep of essential microservices
- Design, development and upkeep of APIs
- Establishing and promoting the use of best practices in the software engineering life cycle
- In depth work with AWS and its services
- Collaborating and communicating the Engineering Lead as well as colleagues across the London and Offshore teams
- Mentoring junior software engineers, enhancing their development
- Visualisation and Insight provision on data

**YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:
The successful Python Developer will have:

- Significant commercial experience as a Python Backend Software Engineer
- Commercial experience working with APIs in Django
- Experience converting monoliths into microservices
- Extensive understanding and commercial experience with AWS and its services
- Experience with data processing libraries e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with SQL, MySQL
- Experience with troubleshooting and infrastructure as code (Terraform etc)

**THE BENEFITS**:
The salary range for this role is £70,000 to £90,000 as well as benefits and is fully remote
