**About the role**
Faculty AI is looking to appoint our new Events Officer, who will help to raise the profile of Faculty among new and prospective clients, by organising best in class events. You’ll work alongside the Event Manager in developing, managing, and executing events/ campaigns to drive leads and pipeline. This is a broad and varied role, where you’ll work across Faculty’s various target sectors and clients to develop and deliver an exciting calendar of events which stand out for the right reason among the audiences we want to engage with. Sitting as part of our marketing department, you’ll be joining a high performing, and social team, keen to support and help us to expand our events programme.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the Events Manager and partner with the wider marketing team to support the delivery of an annual calendar of events including; our own-hosted conferences, exhibitions, roundtables, webinars, networking events, tech talks and fellowship demo days.Working alongside our business units and marketing you’ll coordinate events to ensure maximum relevant attendance for the events you organise to receive high quality leads
- You’ll provide information and support to event delegates both internal and external, ensuring they are well-briefed and have a high-quality experience
- You’ll manage day-to-day operations and admin of your events, setting up day or evening events, handling ad hoc requests, have working relationships with events suppliers and contractors
- You’ll support with event logistics, including invitations, delegate registration (digital or physical), vendor liaison and negotiation including with venues, catering and AV
- You’ll ensure smooth running and completion of events, resolving any problems that occur
- You’ll support with creative concepts and implement new ideas to make our events interesting and engaging
- Support with researching industry events and venues
- Use digital tools, including Hubspot, Wordpress and Zoom to deliver events
- Help achieve and contribute to the OKR’s (Personal, Team and Company) successe
**Your experience**:
- Experience supporting on a range of event types with a passion for events
- You’ll have experience creating digital events, and using event platforms
- Good communications skills both written and verbal
- Excellent creative skills and keep up to date with industry best practices
- Close eye to detail and design when briefing and commissioning events
- Strong project management skills to manage work to deadlines and budget
- A team player, collaborating across the marketing team and the rest of the organisation
- You’re proactive at finding solutions and work on your own initiative to drive projects forward
- You work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment, and can turn around work to tight deadlines
- You’re comfortable receiving, interrogating and actioning feedback effectively
