**Up to £35k basic plus comms**

My client, an independent established estate agent, is recruiting for a Lettings Manager to join their busy lettings department.

**MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES of the Lettings Manager**
- Attend valuations and deliver new instructions
- Generate landlord leads through marketing activities
- Retention of current stock
- Maintain a strong relationship with all landlords
- Ensure properties are let in a timely manner
- Manage the existing team of lettings negotiators and property managers
- Coach and improve new and existing team members
- Monitor overall and individual performance of all lettings team members
- Deal with staff training and regular performance appraisals
- Keep up to date with industry via research, training and attending meetings
- Be aware of competitor performance and activity
- Advocate of business and help to raise profile

**TARGETS for the Lettings Manager**
- Net 25 fully managed properties each year
- Retain 95% of fully managed properties

**EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE of the Lettings Manager**
- Previous lettings management experience

- Excellent face to face customer service skills
- Proven sales skills

- Flexibility in approach to tasks
- An ability to efficiently and effectively communicate
