**Job Summary**

We are seeking **passionate and committed Primary Tutors** to support our growing team of educators. This role involves teaching **English and Maths** to students in **Key Stages 1 and 2** through engaging, targeted lessons designed to build confidence, close learning gaps, and prepare students for SATs and beyond.

You will be based at a **primary centre** but must be **flexible** to support both our Ilford and Mile End branches if needed.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and deliver engaging English and Maths lessons to KS1 and KS2 students
- Assess students’ progress and conduct formal assessments during **Assessment Week** every 4th week
- Tailor learning activities to suit individual student needs and abilities
- Provide **cover work** in case of absence
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and personal development
- Communicate progress with parents, carers, and internal teams where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and learning goals
- Support students with a range of learning needs, including SEN

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **GCSE Grade C / 5 in English Language and Maths**
- **Valid DBS certificate** required
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is **desirable**
- Must be **flexible Monday-Sunday**
- Previous experience working with children in a school or tuition setting is essential (minimum one year experience)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to deliver lessons in a supportive and structured way

Pay: £11.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
