**PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY**

**Quality Co-Ordinator - Lynas Foodservice**

**Reporting to**:Group Quality Manager

**Location**: Coleraine

**Hours**: maximum 40 hours per week

**Closing date**: 6th January 2025 at 12 noon.

Food Safety and Quality are the highest priorities for our company. The aim of the Quality Co-Ordinator is to help manage and coordinate the on-going technical integrity of all processes ensuring compliance to the companies Quality Management System. Must be self-motivated, organised team worker with excellent communication and administrative skills. Must be a tenacious character and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within our company.

**Minimum Job Requirements**
- Excellent computer literacy in particular Excel and Word
- High level of organisational skills, including written and verbal communication, creative problem solving and commitment to company goals
- Knowledge of food safety principles
- Working knowledge of food safety auditing with relevant qualifications
- Research skills
- Ability to speak to groups and conduct group training
- Entrepreneurial attitude towards continuous improvements to food safety systems

**Job Duties**
- Work with the Quality team to develop and maintain the on-site Quality Management System to the current BRC, STS, YUM and EHO standards over our two sites.
- Management of customer complaints portal and trending
- Maintenance and review of raw material supplier approval portal
- Carry out housekeeping, GHP and glass/hard plastic internal audits through online portal
- Assist and carry out internal Quality Management Audits.
- Assist with the training of employees to new procedures and systems developed for BRC implementations.
- Participate in preparation and day of 3rd party safety audits
- Challenge process and continuous improvement program
- Carry out any other duties as requested.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
