We work directly with and for, unpaid carers to provide personalised information, advice and support. Making it easier for those caring for someone else to continue living their lives to the fullest.
We are currently seeking an Adult Carers Support Adviser to join our team in Newham. The requirements of the role will include, managing conversations with carers to identify needs with assessments and support plans; providing advice and wellbeing support; running support groups and activities; working with community groups and partners in both the voluntary and statutory sector to identify Carers in Newham.
To be successful you will have experience of working with adults either in a 1-1 or group setting, a working knowledge of health and social care particularly in relation to adults and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help carers identify their support needs and build resilience.
The role involves a blended approach of working from home and in community settings.
