EHS Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an EHS Manager to join one of the worlds leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news and information.
You will be responsible for supporting the Environmental Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) and help ensure legal compliance with all relevant local statutory requirements.
**As EHS Manager, your responsibilities will include**:
- Active development, updating and implementation of programs and intranet in collaboration with the team.
- Assisting sites in implementation of the EHS Management System and audit preparation, including participation in the audit programme.
- Working with business leaders to drive improvements against goals and objectives (as part of the overall performance requirements).
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method statements submitted by contractors and external vendors.
- Reporting major incidents to Corporate EHS leadership and appropriate external agencies, lead accident investigations.
- Reviewing and updating site training matrix and arrange training for team members.
- Compiling a weekly EHS summary report.
- Liaising with locally based external agencies including Police and other Government Agencies on security or criminal investigation issues as directed by Corporate leadership.
**We are looking for an EHS Manager who has the following skills and experience**:
- To hold a NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, coupled with extensive related work experience.
- It would be highly advantageous if you held a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and Safety, Risk /management, Life Sciences; Biology or Chemistry.
- To have strong technical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills.
