As a Homecare Assistant you will provide care to people in their own homes, helping them to live as independently and comfortably as possible. No previous care experience is required for this role, field and in house training is provided (you will be paid for your time), and with a CQC rating of ‘Outstanding’, you will get unparalleled support and ongoing training. All you need to be successful within this role is to be kind, caring and compassionate and have a willingness to learn and develop, ensuring a great service is provided to our clients.

All home care visits are a minimum of an hour and can be longer, depending on the clients needs/preferences. Rotas are planned to keep travel to a minimum and we pay for your travel time and mileage. Please note for this role, you must have a valid driving licence and have access to your own car.

**Duties include**:

- Personal Care
- Prompting and administering medication
- Getting to know your clients and forming great relationships with them
- Companionship
- Meal preparation and general household tasks including shopping

**We’re looking for**:

- A caring, empathetic and respectful attitude
- Driving Licence and own car is essential
- Good written and verbal communication skills

**Shift times**:

- Daytime shifts are generally 7am to 3pm
- Evening shifts start at 3pm and finish at 10.30pm
- Availability to work alternate weekends welcomed
- Enhancements for working every weekend

**Pay rates**:

- Weekday/evening - £10.50 per hour
- Weekend - £12.00 per hour
- EVERY weekend - £15.00 per hour
