**Job Summary**
To undertake various administration tasks related to Community Engagement, Economic Development, Environmental Projects and Council Events.
**Responsibilities**
- To undertake general administration duties as required by the Community, Economy & Environment Manager that assist them to ensure:
1. Initiatives are delivered for local community groups
2. Initiatives are delivered that develop the local economy
3. Initiatives are delivered that respond to the climate and ecological emergency
4. Council-run events are organised and run smoothly and safely.
- To manage the Chesham Local Produce Market in partnership with Sustainable Chesham.
- To manage the series of Music in the Park summer concerts.
- To lead on Council support for Chesham in Bloom.
- To administer the use of the Council’s Mobile Vehicle Activated Sign (MVAS) system and ensure data is provided to councillors, officers and partners, and made publicly available.
- To support and aid the Town Mayor by organising the annual civic service and the annual carol service.
- To organise the annual Remembrance Day service and any other events to commemorate or celebrate days/events of national significance.
- To actively seek grant funding opportunities to support the work of the Council.
- To assist updating Community, Economy and Environment pages on the Council web site.
