**Domestic Assistant**

**Permanent, contracted hours of 30 per week**

We are recruiting for a **Domestic Assistant **to join our Dovehaven Lodge team, Tag Lane, Ingol. This is a Part time position working 3 days a week 8am - 6pm on a rota basis every other weekend.

**About the Role**:
As a domestic you will be responsible for ensuring a clean safe environment is provided for our residents, visitors and staff and be an important part of the team that ensures residents in our care feel valued. Duties will include following a daily schedule for cleaning within the home, hoovering, dusting, polishing, shampooing carpets, mopping floors and any other duties as required.

**About You**

You will have a caring nature and a positive attitude, showing a desire to deliver the best possible standard of domestic and laundry service to the residents in our care. You will ideally have previous domestic experience and be committed to ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene and appearance. You will be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in your approach to older people and be a team player but able to work on your own initiative. You will be dependable and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the Home.
