Award-winning Milford Care are looking for permanent night care assistants to join our fantastic, hard-working team at one of our care homes, Hazelgrove, in Hucknall.
This position is three 10-hour shifts per week, 9pm-7am. Extra shifts may be available.
With a warm and friendly atmosphere, Hazelgrove strives to be a “Home from Home”, with a strong emphasis on caring for one another like family.
The Home embraces the David Sheard “Butterfly Model” of Person-Centred Dementia Care, recognising the importance of living in the moment and realising that feelings matter most when delivering care, especially to those living with Dementia.
Details of these Care Assistant positions and what the home is offering:
- Permanent contract working flexible shifts over a 7 day rota
- Pay rate of £12.76 p/h plus an extra 15p per hour if NVQ qualified
- A comprehensive induction and ongoing learning and development opportunities (including Level 2 & 3 NVQ/Diplomas)
- Paid holidays (33 days pro rata for accrued)

What We Are Looking For In a Caring Assistant:
**To work in Care, you need the right qualities but gain the qualifications.**
- You may have some experience in a UK nursing home setting, but it is not essential. Preferably you will have a keen interest in working in older peoples’ services
- A flexible approach to shift patterns and able to adhere to a 7 day rota
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
- You will be compassionate and respectful and able to build relationships with colleagues and those that you care for
