Our client, a market leading financial services organisation, known for their excellent work culture, are currently looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to join their ever-evolving team as part of a recent recruitment drive.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, design and implement technical solutions based on Architecture practices and AWS, with assistance from a senior member(s) of technical team
- Design and deliver new Cloud architecture patterns based on standards approved by the technical teams
- Mentor team to implement best practices
- Provide hands-on technical support to peers
- The role will involve utilising:_
- Data Pipelines - Python, SQL, Lambda and Step Functions
- Data Models
- Data tables, for development and optimisation
- Metadata, for development and maintenance
- SQL, to help internal business customers to solve and improve business outcomes

**What We're Looking for**
- Undergraduate degree
- Any AWS Cloud certifications
- Previous exposure to banking, financial services, financial asset management
- Background working in Agile/Scrum environment.
- AWS Serverless technologies include but not limited to:

- Cognito / Lambda / Amazon Athena / Sage Maker / EventHub / API Gateway / AWS / Glue
- Proficiency with JDBC/ODBC
- Previous use of Python, NodeJS or UX Development
- Experience with software development
