As a Buyer in our Indirect Supply Chain team within the Submarines business, you'll play a pivotal role in sourcing the essential services, tools, and technologies that power every corner of our operations. This role sits within our **Submarines business**, which provides nuclear propulsion solutions that power the Royal Navy’s submarines. You’ll be joining a team that plays a critical role in protecting national security and maintaining the UK’s continuous at-sea deterrent.

**What You Will Be Doing**

With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:

- Manage supplier relationships and performance across key indirect categories.
- Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies aligned to business needs.
- Lead or support negotiations, contract renewals and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, systems, and documentation standards.

- Have experience in indirect procurement, category management, or supplier management.
- Be confident managing stakeholder relationships across functional and business areas.
- Demonstrate commercial acumen and awareness of contract frameworks.
- Possess strong project management and communication skills.
- Ideally hold a degree or have relevant industry experience (MCIPS desirable).
