This role sits within our Business & Industry division, catering for those within the workplace. Taking care of catering and dining services, we're one of the industry's largest and most innovative contract caterers. With menus available to pre-order and within-app payment, Elior B&I have matched the tastes and dietary requirements of our four million daily customers with 21st-century tech.
Job description:
Your key responsibilities as the General Manager will consist of:
- Lead Heads of Departments to ensure proactive management of teams on site. Accountable for recruiting, supporting, training and people development to deliver an efficient, high quality service to Elior UK, our customer and clients
- Accountable for ensuring that all aspects of the Elior eXperience are communicated and embedded within the team supporting the Service Champion as appropriate
- Accountable for maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget
- Accountable for innovative menu planning and design of food service within specified budgets ensuring high standard of food presentation and portion/quality control
- Accountable for creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence
- Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues
Profile description:
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future General Manager include:
- Passion for food and innovation
- Proven experience of successfully managing a team
- Passionate and enthusiastic with the ability to lead from the front
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders
- Presentation and report writing is desirable but not essential
- Genuine interest in customer service excellence
- Significant experience within management
- Contract Catering experience desirable
We offer:
As part of your package, we are offering a salary up to £38,000, plus a performance-related bonus.
This role also comes with single healthcare cover (on completion of successful probation within 6 months of start date), a workplace pension, life insurance (x2), 28 days holiday - pro-rata (including Bank Holidays) increasing to 33 days after 2 years' service.You can also purchase up to 5 additional days annual leave.
