Apollo Home Healthcare are currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants who have a genuine interest in working with children and would like to work in role where you are making a difference to their day-to-day life.

Our service user is a 9-year-old boy who requires support throughout the night on a part time basis.

He is a happy young boy who loves interacting with his care team and socialising with his friends during the day at school.

When at home he enjoys playing on his IPAD watching TikTok, watching films, and participating in arts and crafts.

He also loves to go out and do fun filled activities and social with his family, friends and care team.

During the night shift you will be supporting him with regular repositioning as well as offering reassurance and support as and when needed. As well as supporting all aspects of his complex care needs.

He can communicate his wants and needs to his care team, however, will need assistance with day-to-day tasks including all aspects of care.

**We are currently offering a welcome bonus of £150 for this position**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience supporting children with complex care needs
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration

**Desirable Experience**
- Tracheostomy care
- PEG Feeding
- Ventilation Care

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Nights 2 Shifts per week
- 7.15pm-7.30am

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weeknights £14.00 per hour Approx. £175 per 12.5 hour shift

Saturday £14.50 per hour Approx. £181.25 per 12.5 hour shift

Sunday £15.00 per hour Approx. £187.50 per 12.5 hour shift

Bank Holiday £17.50 per hour Approx. £218.25 per 12.5 hour shift
