**Azure Delivery Manager/Lead**

**Location: Reading (Fully Remote)**

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our clients, a multinational Information Technology and consulting firm. European number one in Cloud, Cybersecurity and High-Performance Computing, the Group provides end-to-end Orchestrated Hybrid Cloud, BigData, Business Applications and Digital Workplace solutions.

As an **Azure Delivery Manager,**you will work within the Cloud Enterprise Solutions team to help deliver digital transformation

**Main responsibilities**:

- You will act as a conduit between the engineering team and the end customer, and so must be able to provide regular progress updates and flag any issues accordingly
- Support customer's using the latest software development methods with a set of validated DevOps and DevSecOps best practices to build the right environment
- The team you will oversee will be involved with coding, and a knowledge of coding languages and principles is required to find problems and build solutions.
- Involved in the project management and planning side of development

**Experience and skillset**:

- An excellent communicator between technical and non-technical teams
- Experience of managing (either directly or indirectly) large technical teams
- Delivery of project requirements, leveraging and developing repeatable methods and standards
- Fault finding, guidance on issue escalation and resolution
- Desireable skills include DevOps, proficient with Azure platform product offerings and principles, complemented with pipeline and IaC skills (Azure pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins)
- ARM templates
- Azure deployment
- Jira
- Desirable skills include experience in the public sector, Microsoft certified Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS, Octopus Deploy
