The role of the Production Manager - Kitchen Doors will involve:
- Production Manager position managing the paint department for a high end kitchen doors and accessories manufacturer
- Producing work schedules for the paint department
- Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth running of operations
- Holding team meetings regularly to stay up to date with how projects are progressing
- Carrying out quality assurance checks
- Managing the labour and recruitment for the department
- Liaising with suppliers and negotiating prices
- Attending managements meetings to provide reports for Directors
- Implementing strategies to develop areas of productivity and efficiency to ensure that company targets are met
- Ensuring all process and procedures are in place to support overall growth in the business
- Reporting directly into the Directors
The ideal applicant will be Production Manager - Kitchen Doors with:
- Must have experience within a Production Manager role, ideally within the KBB market sector
- Must have experience working for a manufacturer
- Highly organised individual with a systematic approach
- The ability to resolve complex business problems
- Must have extensive man management experience
- Team leader and motivator
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Longevity in previous jobs, or excellent reasons for quick career moves
- Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- Organised, dynamic and self-motivated
