**Job Title**
Travel Coordinator
**Overview**
Providing effective Travel Coordination support across SMC business areas
**Department**:All

**Position reports to**:Head of Technical Services
**Position is responsible for**:Travel
**HSE Responsibilities**
- Following health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and instructions
- Attending HSE training
- Reporting any hazards or failings in safety procedures
- Taking reasonable care of their own HSE compliance
- Strive to improve HSE both personally and for the business
**Main Duties**
- Plan and Execute travel provisions for personnel allocated to projects and any other company travel requests.
- Arrange booking of Flights, Hire Cars, Accommodation, Taxis, Trains, Ferries, and any other form of transport required to meet requirements.
- Provide communication to personnel regarding travel dates and times.
- Provide communication to personnel about changes to travel and provision of timely information to inform SMC personnel regarding travel arrangements.
- Provide direct support and liaison for onshore and offshore personnel regarding travel issues.
- Liaise, monitor, and record costs with travel agents for flight information hire cars and hotel booking.
- Completion of Purchase Orders and Credit Card Expenditures on Company finance systems.
- Keeping up to date with any new or amended processes, procedures and regulatory changes that impact the role and learning information about new products, always following instructions from the Company.
**Additional Responsibilities/Requirements**
- Assist other departments as required.
- Undertake other office-based admin tasks as instructed
**Knowledge**
- Computer literacy skills - Intermediate Excel, Word Knowledge of Standard Forms of Contracts
- Industry and/or travel experience. (desirable)
- Previously worked in an administrative role for at least 2 years.
- Able to demonstrate competency with IT skills.

**Experience**
- Indstry and/or travel experience. (desirable)
**Qualifications**
- Travel Management qualification. (Desirable)
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent Grade C / Level 2 and above.
- A full UK drivers' license
Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
