Maintenance Fitter

BSNI is working with a leading manufacturing site in NI,

Our client is currently looking to expand our maintenance department and require a time served Maintenance Fitter to assist with the repair of equipment and the development of maintenance procedures for the continued improvement of the performance of PVC and PE extrusion machines and associated plant.

Salary will be depending on experience

Duties & Responsibilities

To assist with the repair of faulty or malfunctioning equipment.

To maintain machinery in accordance with the scheduled routine maintenance schedule.

To assist with the continuous development of the preventive maintenance schedule.

To help develop and improve production machinery and processes.
- Turning, milling and surface grinding.
- Mig, Tig and arc welding.
- Oxyacetalyne burning.
- Metal fabrication.
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Routine maintenance schedules.
- Hands-on, smaller company/workshop experience.

This is a day shift position, with the hours of work 8.00am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am to 4.15 pm on Friday.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £1,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
