Fish and Chip Shop

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook fish and chips according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Assist with the preparation of various menu items, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and upsell menu items effectively.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing dishes and maintaining equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the restaurant.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is beneficial.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately.
- A background in culinary arts or restaurant service will be an advantage.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers.

Pay: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
