The role of Logistics Planner involves monitoring operations, customer service and problem solving within the transport team using the in-house system. This role benefits from an excellent salary of up to £32,000 per year with a bonus of up to 10% (performancebased) paid twice annually and hybrid working - three days from home, two days based at site which will be in Wellingborough or Tamworth.

This is the logistics function and part of a global and leading multinational electronics group, offering an entire logistics process management solution dispatching goods to retail partners across the UK.

**Description**

The role of Logistics Planner will involve:

- Overseeing the smooth operation of the transport function.
- Liaising with the 3PL service provider.
- Using the in-house system to monitor processes.
- Releasing orders to the warehouse team.
- Customer service.
- Some project work.
- Reporting and forecasting.
- General administration work.

**Profile**

The successful Logistics Planner will have:

- Experience in transport and/or warehouse planning.
- Knowledge of transport and/or warehouse planning software.
- The ability to liaise with different stakeholders (internal and external).
- Strong administration skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Experience handling data.
- A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain

Preferable:

- Logistics forecasting experience.
- Demand planning knowledge.

**Job Offer**

The role of Logistics Planner offers:

- An excellent salary of £28,000-£32,000 per year (depending on experience).
