**Legal Assistant, Residential Property.** Birkenhead, Monday to Friday 9-5.30

**The role**

Our Residential property team are looking for a dedicated Legal Assistant to support our busy property team, based in Birkenhead. You’ll work closely with clients who will appreciate your proactive approach and will help to ensure all of their conveyancing related administration runs smoothly. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring our service standards are delivered consistently and proactively every client, every time.
- Proactively liaising with clients to keep them updated on their cases at all times, acting as first point of contact.
- Assisting with drafting contracts on sale, checking search results and mortgage offers, prepare bills and completion statements.
- Provide quotes to clients.
- Sorting, scanning, distributing and sending post.
- Opening and closing client files on the case management system and ensuring it is kept up to date with all appropriate documents and notes
- Administration duties including but not limited to scanning, copying and archiving documents.
- **What we're looking for**

**We’re looking for someone who has previous legal assistant experience in conveyancing. **If you have a can do approach and a genuine interest in this area of law, we’d love to talk.

You’ll be a fantastic communicator who can juggle multiple tasks and has a good eye for small details. IT skills/ case management experience are important too.
