**What we do**Sporty Scholars Kids Holiday Camps is a multi-sport & activity camp for children aged 3-14 over every school holiday (12 weeks a year) We ensure every child is safe, active and has a fun experience at our holiday camps

**We are looking for** Qualified staff to run our Early Years group

**Job summary**Early Years Leaders are leading a group of children each day doing free flow, themed activities and sport activities with them.

**Qualifications**:

- Level 3 or Above Early Years Qualification
- or QTS Qualified Teacher Status

**Job Description**:

- To lead the day-to-day management and organisation of a group.
- Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
- Work with all staff to provide care, play opportunities and activities, both indoors and outdoors, at every session, in a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, with regard to the individual development needs of the children
- Administering first aid when necessary.
- Developing and maintaining good communication with all members of the club, with schools, and especially with parents.
- Undertaking appropriate and relevant training.
- Liaise with the school with regard to the needs of the children who attend the club
- Communicate with parents/carers in a positive, sensitive and constructive manner, encouraging parental support and involvement
- Monitoring and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure working environment.
- Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures, and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- You may be considered for the position of appointed Designated Safeguard Lead / Deputy Manager dependant on experience.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday (School Holidays Only)
