**Main Purpose**

You will work in the fitness center providing the fitness center patrons with a well-balanced and diversified fitness and sports program. These duties will include customer service, laundry, and facility cleanliness, demonstrating proper use of exercise equipment and other activities, preparing sports fields for a myriad of special events, tournaments, and competitions throughout the year.

**Knowledge and Experience Required**:

- Applicants must demonstrate the following: _
- Knowledge of word processing functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of fitness center programs and procedures.
- Knowledge of health, safety and fire regulations, practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of the assigned equipment within the fitness center, how it functions, and required safety rules and regulations.

**Other Important Information**
- Employee will be required to observe US Federal Holidays instead of UK Public Holidays.
- Work schedule will be on an as rostered schedule which will include evenings, weekends and/or holidays, typically between the hours of 0530 - 2100.
- Must obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance.
- A pre-employment physical is required. May require physical dexterity and ability, heavy physical exertion (lifting up to 75 pounds), and exposure to hazardous materials.
- Must complete all mandatory training IAAW AFI 34-22, Air Force Fitness and Sports Program.
- May be assigned other duties that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the incumbent.
- May be required to travel by military or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training.
- Position may be coded as key worker (mission essential).

Applicants who have a minimum of five years consecutive residency in the UK are considered for this position; however, those who do not meet this criteria will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All successful applicants will require a security clearance.
