We are looking for a friendly, well presented person with exceptional customer service skills to join our team as a Vehicle Rental Operative, based in West End, Southampton.

We’ve been trading from our site in West End, Southampton since 1985, and in that time, we’ve garnered a reputation for excellent customer service and high-quality vehicles.

We’re a small team, so you won’t be treated as “just a number” and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the company.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**

Greeting Customers on arrival to collect and return vehicles
Using computer based rental system to open and close rental agreements
Checking vehicles before and after hire
Damage reporting
Calculating quotations for customers
Delivering & cleaning vehicles when required.
Building a rapport with the customer base
Checking customer's licences for points and endorsements
Communicating with our insurance company

Hours are Monday to Friday 0730-1800, Saturdays on a 3 week rota of 7am-10am, 7am-12pm, Off

**About You**

Experience in the rental industry and a D1 driving licence is preferred but not required.

You must have held a full UK Driver's Licence for 3 years and have no more than 6 points.
