**Job Overview**

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Costing team and we are looking for an industrious, proactive and dedicated finance professional to join the team.

**Main Duties of the Job**

The post-holder will report to the Finance Business Partner (Costing, PLICS and SLR) and will have involvement in the production and continued development of Service Line Reporting at the Trust. This will involve regular working with stakeholders such asclinicians and operational managers.

The post holder will lead in the production of quarterly PLICS outputs, operating the Trust’s costing model software to produce this information. The post holder will also assist in the production and submission of accurate National Cost Collection submissionsto NHS England and Improvement.

**Working for your Organsiation**

This role sits within the Costing team which is part of the Finance Directorate. It is based at our City Road site (Old Street) and comprises a dedicated and engaged team of professionals.

Applicants will hold a degree or equivalent and should be CCAB (or CIMA) qualified or actively studying towards a CCAB qualification (or CIMA). Knowledge and understanding of financial issues facing the NHS is essential.

Office based working will be required for at least part of the working week.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious accountant seeking to further their costing/SLR experience. Curiosity and an eagerness to learn and develop is essential.
