**Do you have experience of providing a customer service?**

If so, we have an exciting opportunity in Darlington for a Shipping Administration to work for one of our clients who is best in their class for performance and reliability in their product.

This role is a hybrid working position and our client is offering an excellent salary of £13.71 per hour.

In this role you would be working between 8:00 - 19:00, 37.5 hours per week, initially this is a 6-month contract.

**As the Shipping Administrator your responsibilities would include**:

- Enter data into the database system to maintain stock and training records
- Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures
- Perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices
- Identify and control non-conforming material
- Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, labels/packages, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space
- Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product
- Other duties as deemed reasonable

**Shipping Administrator Person Specification**:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Good IT skills
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
