The Niche Partnership are proud to be recruiting for an immediate start Purchase Ledger Clerk position, the role is a temporary 6-month assignment based in central Southampton. You will need experience within accounts payable, invoicing and reconciling.Due to a recent system change, during the Assignment you will be working through a back log of invoices and processing them onto the new system.
You will be joining a very supportive team of colleagues and will have to opportunity to work on a hybrid basis after initial implementation and setting up.
**Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor you will be responsible for**:

- Processing invoices onto the system
- Raising invoices
- Recovering of overpayments
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- liaising with suppliers to resolve queries
- Ad hoc duties as requested by Accounts Payable supervisor

**What you will need**:

- Ideally experience in one or more of the following roles: Purchase Ledger Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk / Purchase Ledger Administrator / Accounts Payable Clerk / Payables Administrator / Finance clerk/ Finance administrator/ Accounts clerk / AccountsAdministrator
- IT literate
- Strong organisation skills with attention to detail
