**The Job**
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 - 16:30
- Weekend and bank holiday will be required from time to time where a higher rate will be paid in these cases

**Duties**
- Plan and organize the efficient and effective delivery of haulage services to internal & external customers.
- Ensure the required delivery of goods more efficient by determining which goods, in what quantities and at what location, are required to meet anticipated demand
- Support the Distribution Team in delivering their transport strategy of giving our Customers the right vehicle type, at the right time and at the lowest possible cost
- Coordinate and plan project activities within the team working with other project stakeholders to deliver agreed changes to ways of working
- Research, identify and implement changes and improvements to the distribution systems and processes.
- Extract accurate data from systems and utilise this to build and distribute relevant reporting

**Requirements**:

- Must have a Transport Operations CPC (National and International)
- An excellent knowledge of distribution and logistics operations
- An in depth knowledge of the Steadtler TMS system and MM
- Financial awareness

**The Pay**
- £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: Up to £35,000.00 per year
