**Office Assistant and Events Co-ordinator**
We are a small catering and events company based in Beckenham, looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic addition to our team.
This is a great role for someone who is looking for a hands-on role and who wants to be involved in as many aspects of a growing company in the events and catering industry.
**Events Management and Planning**
- Liaising closely with the client throughout the planning process, accurately recording changes
- Preparing detailed events sheet for the front of house team
- Liaising with venues as necessary
- Booking staff as necessary, issuing event timings and event details to the team
- Organise and host tastings and client meetings
**Administration**
- Answering incoming calls, taking down relevant information, recording it and dealing with the subsequent tasks
- Preparing client proposals with detailed information and costings
- Keeping an up to date record of future bookings
- Developing and maintaining good customer relations
- Cover the office as necessary
**Key Requirements**
- Computer literacy
- Can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Organisational skills
- Polite and confident telephone manner
Hours - 30-40 per week (negotiable) - core hours 9am - 5pm
Starting salary £25,000 per annum dependent on hours and experience
Driving licence an advantage
**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Beckenham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
