**Overall Purpose**

The Bookkeeper provides accounting and administrative support across all corporate company activities. Member of the accounting and administrative team, supporting senior accounting and administrative staff as well as aviation managers and the procurement team. Working on the corporate accounting function, primarily on Hill Robinson Aviation with support to the 2 other corporate companies. Carry out other administrative duties in support of the General Manager. Also provides cover for similar tasks during holidays/sickness.

**Responsibilities**

Accounting and book-keeping:

- Processing invoices, including checks to supporting analysis/expenses
- Prepare bank payments and transfers
- Bank reconciliations

Cover:

- Provide cover for colleagues of the accounting and admin team

**Education and experience**
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- CSEs, including Maths and English Language
- Educated at A-level or equivalent
- Data input and maintaining database records
- Experience of book-keeping, reconciliation, accounting Responding to questions from suppliers
- Experience of working with Excel, Word, Outlook, Quickbooks

- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Focussed on achieving deadline
- Good at developing positive relationships
- Able to develop positive working relationships within the IOM team and staff in other Hill Robinson companies
- Willing to train in accounting or already working towards relevant qualification
- Seeking position which can develop and grow over time
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to support other team members
