We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Machine Operators. As Machine Operators, you will play a crucial role in the packing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety.

**About the job**

You report to the Supervisor in Packing, and you will be part of our packing team packing our freeze-dried products in different packaging types and sizes. We are in a transition phase towards 100% machine packing, and are improving our efficiency every day.
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with procedures
- Monitor and record production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control
- Follow strict food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Who are you?**

Your attitude is one of your strongest cards You are willing to learn, positive towards changes and work towards achieving set goals.
- Previous experience in packing or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- English speaking and preferably English writing skills
- Ability to work well in a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: You will be working daily from 7.00 - 15.30, with opportunities to take overtime when we are busy.

**About us**

Freeze drying is regarded as the optimal method for food dehydration as it guarantees preservation of quality and maintains key characteristics, such as colour, flavour, texture and nutritional value, with easy rehydration. In conjunction with optimal packaging, freeze drying, also guarantees food a shelf life that ranges up to 25 years. Freeze drying is an expensive process that caters best to the high end of the food markets and value selling is therefore key. The company employs 60 people across its UK and Denmark sites.

Pay: £11.44-£12.35 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
