**Cherry Professional** are excited to be _exclusively_ helping this internationally recognised business, to bring onboard a personable and inquisitive** Finance Analyst, **who will get to report into a supportive **FinanceController**.
This Finance Controller has a great reputation as a line manager, having previously worked their direct reports, whom all sing their praises, in being on-hand to help develop and train where needed, without being over-bearing or a micromanager.
This will suit someone who has an understanding of the management accounting process, and would like to do more of the high level review and validation of this, then challenge the variances to budgets with the Operational Budget Holders.
The opportunity
- Analysis of the Profit & Loss and variances to budgets, then challenge the Department Heads on this and help with any queries
- Weekly reporting on KPI’s for your business units
- Lead continuous improvement projects
- Budget support and review of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Operational Expenses
Offering
- **£30,000 - £35,000**:

- Study support (2x days off per exam)
- Annual bonus scheme
- 22x days + Christmas Eve + bank holidays (rises according to length of service)
- Flexible working, 2-3x days per week
TITLE: **Finance Analyst**
LOCATION: **Nottingham, Nottinghamshire**
** 50% remote working**
- Relevant **Degree **holder with _at least 2 year’s practical _finance experience or **AAT Level 3 upwards**
** **Wants to study or is** Part Qualified **in** ACCA **or** CIMA** (will accept** ACA **studiers too)
- Confident on Excel (basics of VLOOKUP’s, Pivot tables, SUMIFS)
- Experienced in management accounting
- Particularly suited for anyone coming from manufacturing industry or with Price Purchase Variance analysis experience.
