Due to high demand and our increasing popularity in the Wiltshire area, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic and confident Teaching Assistants (TA’s) to work on a supply basis in our client SEN school in Salisbury.

This Special Educational Needs School is a day community school for children with:

- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Autism (ASC)
- Complex Learning Difficulties
- Physical Difficulties
- Medical Needs
- Sensory Loss

As a Teaching Assistant at this specialist school, you will be supporting classes of between 4 and 12 students according to their needs. You will work under the instruction of a class teacher and at least 1 other TA within the class. You will follow a carefullyadapted curriculum to suit each students needs.

You may also be asked to support students within the schools bespoke facilities such as Hydrotherapy, soft play, sensory rooms and a Forest School.

Due to the nature of this role, it is essential you have experience working in a classroom environment or supporting individuals with special needs. You will be calm, compassionate, resilient, adaptable and have a great sense of humour.

Working hours are 08:30 - 15:30. We are looking for applicants with full time availability (Monday - Friday, term time only). We can also consider applicants who are looking for flexible, part time work.

It would be beneficial for you to have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Please call into the branch to find out more information.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
