They are offering an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join the business and become part of a growing team, to support the journey of transforming the way legal and compliance support is provided; supporting colleagues across the group divisions,this is a work from home role. As a Legal Counsel your responsibilities will be: - Commercial contract negotiations (customer and supplier) in line with corporate standards predominantly relating to fleet management outsourcing, software licensing, sale/lease and purchase of vehicles and other goods - Providing consistent and high-quality legal advice to the business on a variety of commercial matters related to commercial, compliance, procurement, disputes, funding arrangements and debt collection or any other issues that may arise from time to time - creation and maintenance of standard templates and related collateral to support commercial and sales teams positioning - Keeping up to date on relevant legal and regulatory changes affecting the organisation at a corporate level and supporting with updates to business and policies accordingly - Advising in relation to contract management queries and leading on resolution of disputes - Delivering training on relevant legal issues within the legal team and to other business functions Skills & Experience Required: - Law degree (or equivalent) - Qualified Solicitor in England/Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction - The role is suited to a lawyer with at least 3 years post qualified experience - Demonstrable "hands-on" commercial law experience in a fast-paced environment - Legal experience gained in-house in a large organisation or in a leading commercial law firm What you'll get: In return, the business offers a supportive but autonomous work environment and genuine scope for professional development and career progression.
