**Overview**
Here at Winnie’s Walkies we are on the hunt for a new dog walker, we thrive on giving clients a great personal service. We cover the Isle of Sheppey and Sittingbourne therefore it is crucial that you drive. We do offer flexible working hours as well as you determine how busy or easy you want to take it, this means your work can suit you

Your daily tasks can be:

- 30 minute walks/drop ins
- 45 minute walks
- 1 hour walks
- Taking animals to the vets
- Petsits (Overnight stays)

**Responsibilities**
- Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation.
- Maintain control of dogs at all times, using appropriate leashes and harnesses.
- Provide basic animal care, including feeding, administering medication if required, and ensuring access to fresh water.
- Monitor the behaviour and health of dogs during walks, reporting any concerns to us.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding how the walk/drop in was.
- Maintain cleanliness by picking up after dogs during walks.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as carrying dog supplies or assisting with larger breeds.

**Requirements**:

- Previous settings is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners.
- Ability to manage multiple dogs of varying sizes and temperaments safely.
- Physical fitness to handle long walks and perform heavy lifting as needed.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate different walking times as required by clients.

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 18 per week
