Telephone & Administration Volunteer
Are you happy to chat on the telephone and can get by on a PC? Looking for administration or customer service experience? With support from the shop team you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with any phone or face to face enquiries, arranging collections of donations via our local van teams and explaining our Gift Aid scheme.
This is a busy front of house role for those who like to be in the thick of it, and makes a huge difference in helping us raise funds to beat heartbreak forever.
Say hello to the team:
Funding for researchers begins at your local charity shop. Now, more than ever, we are in urgent need of volunteers to enable us to continue our life saving research and help the 7.6 million people in the UK living with heart and circulatory diseases. This wouldn’t be possible without our fantastic volunteers.
Our team is welcoming and friendly, and we love meeting people from all walks of life.
Typical tasks include:
- Dealing with over the counter, phone and online enquiries, supported by the team
- Reception and front of house duties, helping around the cashier desk
- Being organised and able to follow administration procedures accurately
- Providing good customer service and assisting the shop team and Manager

- The ability to gain valuable retail experience to add to your CV and learn new skills
