An opportunity has arisen for a Project Leader to join the Portfolio Delivery team. As part of this team, you will get the opportunity to make a real difference to NHS SBS. Currently we have Project Managers and Leaders on every major Programme/project.

This role is fully remote with monthly requirements to attend the Leeds office for collaborative meetings.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Ensuring all collaborators are engaged and remain committed to assigned projects and have complete and continuing awareness of the project plan, key achievements, progress to date and plans to completion, providing regular and accurate reports on progress,issues and plans to relevant senior client and NHS SBS management and advancing any issues as per agreed escalation procedures.
- Coordinating, supporting, and ensuring quality standards are maintained within the project for all collaborators.
- Handling risks, issues, and change, raising awareness of risks to ensure cost-effective and timely resolution of issues.
- Owning and delivering small to medium projects within a larger project or programmes, ensuring that they conform to customer and NHS SBS project management governance standards, and time, cost, and quality specifications.
- Producing outline project approaches, plans and business cases, collating background information and completing analysis of risk and return to provide the management team with sufficient information for decision making on project or Programme viability.
- Ensuring that all projects are appropriately constructed and delivered to the governance and tolerances agreed in the business case and project initiation document.
- Supporting the formal closure of projects and the completion of project, post implementation support and lessons learned reviews, in order to ensure that lessons learned are gathered and passed to the relevant forum for action and improve own and teams’development, skills improvement and overall contribution.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Recent & relevant project management experience
- APM Fundamentals Qualification or equivalent
**It would be great if you had**:
- Knowledge of the NHS
- PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certificate
- Experience of working with Agile techniques (SCRUM, DSDM)
- Any APM Qualifications
- Membership of the Association for Project Management
- IT services background

**Security Clearance Level**:BPSS** **Salary**:Up to £35,000 (dependent on experience)
