We’re hiring for an **Assembly Team Leader** to join a leading electronics manufacturer based in **Stockport**. Your role will involve leading a small production team as well as assembling and wiring products which are supplied into many blue-chip companies across the globe.

**What’s on offer?**
- £12.50 - £13.50 per hour
- 39 hours per week (days only) + Overtime
- 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays
- Bonus payable after completion of qualification period

**What will you be doing as an Assembly Technician?**
- Leading a small team to deliver on planned production schedule, supporting team members and working to complete all aspects of the final assembly, wiring and testing
- Working safely and efficiently to complete assembly of LED boards, frame assembly, gasketing riveting, and wiring of light fittings,
- Ensuring the necessary documentation during the manufacturing process is completed as required by our ISO and SAGE system requirements
- Attending daily production meetings, reporting on ongoing job status, planned despatch dates, parts and labour shortages
- Developing team members to grow the skill base and competency within your team

**What do you need?**
- Previous experience in an electrical assembly role is essential
- Experience leading a team in a production environment would be preferred, but isn’t essential
- Flexible and practical hands-on approach working as part of the team
- Good organisational and delegation skills
- Great people skills
- Target driven to work to planned production dates
- Attention to detail to support ongoing drive for quality improvement

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
