**About the opportunity...** We are recruiting for a Payroll Advisor to join our Payroll team located at our Customer Support Centre based in Walsall.

As a Payroll Advisor, you will report into the Payroll Manager and be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of 3 different pay runs, consisting of weekly, 4 weekly and monthly.

You will be working as part of a team who process payroll for around 18,000 colleagues.

This role comes with the ability to study Payrol Administrator Level 3 qualification, through an apprenticeship.

**What you'll be doing...** On a day to day to basis, as a Payroll Advisor you will be responsible for:

- Preparing and inputting data into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and confidentially of information
- Dealing with a wide range of queries including absence, statutory sick pay and auto enrolment
- Supporting payroll runs across Retail, our Customer Support Centre and Distribution Centres.
- Providing excellent customer service to a wide range of customers, from retail store colleagues up to broad directors.

**What you'll need...** To be successful, your skills and experience will include:

- Experience of processing 5000 employees plus, within a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to KRONOS T&A system would be advantageous
- Experience with different Payroll software such as SAP, Chris21 & Oracle
- Must have 2 years’ plus experience within Payroll environment
- Competent with data entry and excel spreadsheets, knowledge of V-Look ups would be an advantage
