As an integral member of the small UK Drawing Office, working alongside the larger international team the CAD Engineer will directly report to the UK Drawing Office Manager to support the Project and Process Engineering teams in the production of drawings,3D models and standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide layouts, general arrangement and detail drawings in Solid Works and Tekla in full accordance with company standards and clients’ project specifications.
- Work as a team member dedicated to fulfilling the project design requirements, liaising with interested parties and attending meetings as required.
- Monitor job progress within specified schedules.
- Assist in the development of **SolidWorks, Tekla** and other CAD systems and standards.
- Check drawings.
- Review and comment on/approve seller drawings.
- Liaise with sub-contractors with regard to contracted-out drawings.
- Maintain drawing office records

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience of working in a **parametric 3D modelling environment is essential**, ideally using SolidWorks. Knowledge of **AutoCAD and Tekla** is advantageous.
- High standard of analytical & technical problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with foreign clients, colleagues and suppliers
- Able to liaise and co-ordinate with staff of all levels in multiple offices around the world
- Excellent draughting skills with the ability to produce engineering drawings neatly and accurately.
