IKEA has an exciting opportunity to become a Kitchen and Bedrooms Sales Specialist in one of our new Planning & Order Points in PRESTON.
The order point will make IKEA more accessible to our customers.
You will use your expert kitchen/bedrooms knowledge to plan and support your customer through what can be a complex purchase.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
We are looking to build a team of multiskilled co-workers who are self-sufficient and can take responsibility.
We are looking for someone who always puts the customer first and enjoys working as part of a team. You are a natural problem solver and a strong communicator who could handle difficult conversations with customers.
The successful co-workers will be handling all aspects of running a unit from planning to customer service and opening/closing, so if you are motivated and display IKEA's leadership qualities we'd love to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- You provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
- You actively approach customers to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their Kitchen / Bedroom.
- You are always passionate about the range and, curious to find out your customer’s home furnishing needs and to help them solve problems.
- You maximise sales by being proud of your unit, ensuring the customer meets a range presentation that is clean, well presented, and easy to shop.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This role is for a 24 hour contract, full flexibility is required. Role to include working 4 days per week across both weekdays and weekends.
If you are successful, you will be supported through various weeks of training to get you ready for the opening.
